I wore this once for my birthday a few years ago.  I didn't want to part with it but I know that I won't wear it again.  It's such a great party dress though.  Very sparkly and girly and would be great for any type of special occasion or celebration.  It's in brand new condition.  There's a zipper with clasp in the back.  I got a lot of compliments on this dress and you will definitely stand out in this :) 

Casual Fridays In My Fridays

This was such a great week for me.  I'm still on a high from fashion week.  I've been searching the net to see if I find any pics that were taken of me haha. If you see any let me know!  I'm excited for the weekend and I'm sure you all are to.  I'm going out today but made my outfit really casual.  I wore this to work and the only difference is my lipstick color!  Earlier today I was wearing Creme Cup by MAC and tonight I have on Rebel by MAC.  It's a new shade that I got and I love it.  I wasn't able to do a shoot this afternoon so I took some quick pics outside in my backyard.  Hope you like!!

I found this shirt at H&M and it was the last one left AND it was my size.  It wasn't even in the right spot.  I love the print and mix of colors.  It' so cute the way it goes off the shoulder.  I actually had to pull it down a little bit to keep it from popping back up. I paired it with my dark H&M skinnies that are oh so comfy.  These are my wedges that I ordered from ShoeDazzle and their name is actually "Friday" haha.  They fit perfect and are so easy to walk in.  The height is 5 inches and it doesn't even feel like it.  Every time I wear shoes from ShoeDazzle people can't believe that they were only $39! 

I went kind of light on the accessories.  Wearing my father's wedding band again, double finger cross ring and my gold finger ring that bends when my finger does.  I have on hanging earrings and my belt wrap around bracelet.  I'm using my H&M shoulder bag.  I think the lip color really made the outfit stand out more.  Here's a pic I took of myself earlier today with the lighter lip shade.

NY FASHION WEEK!!

Today was such an incredible and amazing experience for me!  It was my first time going to a real fashion show in NY and during fashion week.  Words really can't express how I feel right now.  I'm so appreciative that I was given the opportunity to go.  There were photographers EVERYWHERE and I was even stopped for my picture a few times and I even saw them taking candids of me.  I felt like a celebrity for a few minutes lol.  I spotted the model Toccara from America's Next Top Model.  She was at the EMU show I went to and I also saw her at Lincoln Center.  There was another model that Alina spotted too.  Now I need to tell you all about it, share some photos and of course show you what I wore!! This might be my longest post yet so I hope you're ready :)

I was slightly freaking out about my outfit because since it was my first time going, I didn't know how to dress, but it was actually a perfect choice!  I have on a leopard print boyfriend blouse from Lovers+Friends that I got at Suite201.  It's an amazing oversized button down sheer blouse.  I tied it at the waist.  I paired it with my liquid leggings from H&M and my Steve Madden booties.  

It was a cold & rainy day so I also wore a new parka style jacket that I recently bought at H&M.  It has gold buttons and zipper and ties at the waist.  Here I am outside the Lincoln center! 

 Here's some pics from the first show at Style360: EMU.  It's a line from Australia.  Their fall collection was inspired by natural elements of Australia and Nordic fur trends.  There was a wide range of neutrals and subtle placements of earth-like colors.  Their footwear featured a lot of sheepskin and Nappa leather styles.  They are known for their continued focus on sheepskin innovation.

This line was all about layering, boots, headwear, earmuffs, gloves, and scarves.  I saw a lot of fur vests too.  Both of the shows that we saw were at Style360 in downtown Manhattan but in between shows we went to the Lincoln Center to check out the scene and grab some lunch because that is where Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is actually held.  It was amazing.  I also got to go into the VIP lounge which was pretty cool :) Here's some photos. 

Loved this.  It was inside the VIP lounge. 

The shoes and clutches matched the colors of the interior and exterior of the cars.  It was really cool and they also gave us 2 essie nail polish colors that matched the cars as well. 

This is just part of the room at Lincoln Center.  There were different set ups all around the room.  The one showing here was a hair station! 

I snuck a pic of this girl because I loved her outfit!  The maxi skirt with the fur vest.  Too cute. 

The Lorax was at fashion week too! lol 

Here's Alina in the cab!  We weren't able to get a good picture together but she had on leggings and booties as well with a one shoulder top and draped blazer style jacket. 

The next show we saw was for THEIA.  I am in love with this line.  The designer really is amazing.  It's all gowns and dresses.  The inspiration behind the fall collection comes from the Goddess Athena, an invincible woman imbued with the powers of intellect and nature.  The collection featured armored embroideries, burnt sequins, and crumpled pearls.  I was blown away.  There was 31 pieces in this show so I am going to share some of my best shots.  I was much closer to the runway this time :)

I also got little goodie bags from EMU & THEIA.  Yay for some free stuff :)

 I am already looking forward to fashion week in September and going to different shows.  Now I know what to expect and how to dress.

We Found Love.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY MY LOVES!! I hope that you are all enjoying this day so far and spending it with the people who are closest to you.  I wanted to do something special today so I did a little Valentines Day shoot :)  I hope that you like it!

 I am wearing a pink skirt with small black hearts that I got from H&M.  I've worn it only once before and it was perfect for today.  I have on my bandeau top from Suite201 by a brand named Islay.  I paired it with my black stockings and Steve Madden booties. I'm using my envelope clutch from H&M and have on this big heart ring. Love it! Later today I am going to dinner and I will be treating myself to a huge dessert! :)

Like how I added that heart? lol Tomorrow I am going to my first fashion show for New York Fashion Week! Super excited!! Sending you all my love today <3

Oversized Love

Happy beautiful Monday!  It's so nice outside just very windy.  I am loving my outfit because it's relaxed and very comfortable.  Even my hair is chill today.  I curled it again last night and this morning it was just real wavy and messy so I left it.  So please excuse the fact that it's not very nice today lol.

I have to start out by saying that I am obsessed with this oversized shirt.  I found it at Zara and the minute I tried it on I fell in love.  It's soooo comfy and loose fitting.  It's one of those shirts that if I could I would just wear it every day.  I also really like how it falls off the shoulder.  I'm a fan of off the shoulder tops if you didn't know yet.  Another great thing about this shirt is that it's a nice transitional piece from winter to spring.

I paired it with these basic black leggings from H&M.  I have a couple of pairs and they are my go to leggings for "everyday" wear.  Do you see the new booties?!  I got them on CLEARANCE at Steve Madden and I am really excited about them lol I love the high chunky heel and the little tassels on the laces.  They are also real comfortable and easy to walk in.  Now I can give my wedges a little break :) 

I found this really funky necklace at Forever21 and I got a new ring from there also which I am wearing on my middle finger. I also have on a finger ring and my father's wedding band that I have on my pointer finger.  It's my first time wearing it and I think I am going to more often.  I'm wearing my Aldo marcasite inspired earrings and I'm using my envelope clutch/shoulder bag from H&M.  It's black patent leather.  

Of course I have on my Ray-Bans.  I'm wearing a new lipstick shade from MAC called "Sweetie."  It looks lighter than it actually is but it's a pink shade.  I really like it for the spring.  As you can see most of the pictures I shot are sitting down just to kind of go along with the relaxed vibe of this look.  How do you feel about oversized tops?  Would you wear one?  Enjoy the rest of the day!!

Valentines Day Looks

It's just about that time again... Valentines Day!  A lot of people have mixed emotions about this day.  Some live for it while others could really care less.  I admit that I've never been completely fond of this day.  But whether you're attached or single, you could still get dressed up and enjoy it.  There's no need to get upset if you don't have a boyfriend to celebrate it with because I'm sure that there are plenty of other people in your life who shower you with love on that day and every other day.  Valentines was usually only special to me because no matter what, my father was ALWAYS my valentine.  Every single year he would get me beautiful flowers and a card.  Even though he isn't here anymore, he will always be my one true valentine!

So get dolled up this year and go out with your girlfriends if you are single.  Get some dinner and grab some drinks and look absolutely fab!! Or if you have a boyfriend, enjoy this special day with him.  Either way I created some sets to give you ideas of outfits that you can wear :) Hope it gives you some inspiration!

Keeping It Funky

It's kind of a gloomy Saturday so I decided to brighten it up a little bit with some red!  My outfit today is kind of funky and I had a lot of fun shooting outside in it.  I feel like I channeled a few different people today to get the inspiration for my outfit but I don't really know who if that makes any sense! lol I guess you guys can tell me if it reminds you of anyone in particular.  Literally my entire outfit is from H&M except the wedges, surprise surprise.  I curled my hair last night & slept on it so today it was nice and wavy.  It added another cool effect to this look.

I'm wearing my red skinnies.  Absolutely love these.  A few girls told me that they couldn't find them but the last time I went to H&M, which was this week, they were still there.  So I hope you are able to get them! I've got on a long sleeve black sweater.  It's sort of see through and it's a little bit longer in the back.  Very cozy and comfortable.  

I saw this hat and there were only 2 left.  At first I was a little bit hesitant about getting it, but when I tried it on the entire outfit for today just popped in my head.  It just gave this look a whole new feel.  I think it has a little euro vibe going on.  I'm using my studded fringe shoulder bag.  Another obsession of mine.  My accessories are MK watch, Suite201 leather bracelet, thrifted necklace, gold finger ring and a square black ring.  I've also got on small gold earrings which you can't really see.  

I swear I have other shoes, but this week I just couldn't get enough of these wedges!  The height is 5 inches so it makes me look so much taller :) I ordered a similar pair in taupe that should be coming in this week so I am excited.  I'm wearing Russian Red from MAC.  Sometimes I just want to wear red lipstick everyday!  I'm actually going to MAC this week to try out some new shades.  

This was actually a real simple look, but something a little different for me.  I like thinking outside the box and getting pieces that can switch up my entire look.  If I didn't wear this hat, my outfit would not have had the same effect.  So again, it's those little things that make a difference!  I always say that accessories can make your whole outfit and it's so true.
