Green & Gold

I really wanted to do a full outfit post today but since it got really cold and windy I decided to take a few quick pics and focus in on this lovely vintage jacket!  The next time I wear it I will make sure to do full body pics.

Jacket: Vintage 1950s/ Shirt & Sunnies: H&M/ Necklace: C/O SxVintage/ Bracelet: C/O TheWayWeAre

I absolutely love vintage pieces.  They're classic and a great addition to have in your wardrobe.  I came across this one on Karlas Closet, one of my favorite fashion bloggers, so I knew that I had to get it from her shop. I love the gold button details and the cropped style.  I don't really have anything green in my closet either, so this was a really nice find for me.  It's really cool to think about all of the women who might have worn this before me.  Vintage pieces always carry a story with them.

I paired it with a simple white tee and jeans, similar to my post here but I switched it up a bit.  I know I have said it before and I will say it again.  A plain white tee is a must have staple piece!  They can be worn in so many ways and are perfect for layering.  I have a bunch of different style ones.
When I got my camo jacket from sxvintage, she added in this chunky chain necklace so now I am finally wearing it!  My obsession with gold jewelry will never end.

Having the perfect statement jacket can transform your whole look this season.  I really like this green and gold combo.  It's great for the holidays!
Just in case I don't get to post again before Christmas (hopefully I will), I am sending you all happy holiday wishes! :)

Coast To Coast Holiday Looks

With Christmas next week, New Years around the corner, and a bunch of holiday invites for dinners and parties coming in, it was time for another Holiday outfit idea. But this time, I collaborated with 3 other bloggers to show you a total of 4 different looks: 2 from the east coast and 2 from the west coast!

Paulina from Lil Bits Of Chic went with a super chic all black ensemble and added pops of red with her bag and lip
Daisy from Daisy's Fashion Garden shows that you can still be festive in neutral shades by accessorizing with gold details and a bright lip color
Melissa from Sweet Styles By Melissa created a fun holiday look by adding a printed blazer and red accessories to her ensemble

I love that all of these looks are different. Melissa and I are both from Jersey and Paulina and Daisy are from Cali. I think these ladies look super fab and beautiful! Please check out their blogs for more photos and details and make sure to follow too!

Now on to my look and outfit details!

Dress: C/O Furor Moda/ Shoes: Steve Madden/ Bag: C/O SiennaRay/ Earrings: Forever21

I really adore this navy blue dress from Furor Moda.  It has great details like the small buttons on the sleeves and the pleats and cut out near the chest area.  This is the perfect dress for a holiday dinner or a party with family and friends.  It's sophisticated, classy and chic!  To make it a little more "holiday ready" I put on my red pumps, gold jewelry, and added my fab new bag from Sienna Ray! I think this is the perfect holiday bag. It can be used as a clutch, a little handbag, or a cross body/over the shoulder.  Perfection.  The gold color makes it a fab statement piece for any ensemble.

Typically when you think of the holiday season, colors like red and gold probably come to mind.  But if you don't want those to be the main colors of your outfit try incorporating them into your look in other ways like we all did with shoes and accessories. I really love the navy and red combo so these heels were a perfect match.  For me, a red lip is a go to for the holidays.  It just screams festive and it's a great way to brighten up your look! MAC Russian Red and Ruby Woo are my favorite red shades.

Furor Moda is having a 30% off sale for all dresses till 3pm! If you still need one for the holidays make sure to order yours today by 3 so you can get it in time!

*Congrats to Lucy, the winner of the camo jacket!  Thank you so much to everyone who entered! There will be more giveaways soon*

I hope you liked our Coast To Coast Holiday Looks Collab!

Because Opposites Attract

I mentioned how Melanee and I did a shoot together in Bryant Park over the weekend and here are the pics!  They were taken by her sister :)

On Me: Jacket c/o SugarLips/ Skirt, Hat, Tights & Sunnies: H&M/ Shoes: Bakers/ Bag: Aldo
On Mel: Camo Pants: Zara/ Blazer: Forever21/ Shirt: UNIF/ Booties: Vince Camuto/ Beanie: Cotton On

I love this title that she came up with because it fits perfectly for this post!  She's from LA and I am from the NJ/NY area so both of our styles are different, but we are seriously so similar!  There's such a great mixture of street fashion in New York which is one of the many things that I love about that city.  There's inspiration everywhere.  So for this shoot, we wanted to showcase two completely different NY styles: classic chic and casual edgy.

We had so much fun taking these pics and really just wanted to get some great candids and show off our own personal styles.  This was the first time I did a shoot with another fashion blogger and I am so happy that it was with Melanee! She's been one of the most supportive friends through out these past couple of months of blogging and I truly appreciate it.  I am looking forward to doing another fun shoot with her the next time I am in LA which should hopefully be next month!  Her post on this shoot will be up on her blog in a few days so make sure to check it out there too!

This last pic is not that clear but it kind of reminded me of a still from Gossip Girl lol which by the way I am so sad the finale was yesterday!
On another note, today is your last day to enter the Camo Jacket Giveaway! I will be announcing the winner on Thursday! Thanks to all who entered and good luck!

Chic In The City

I was really excited about working with SugarLips and even more excited when they sent me my first choice, the Clemence You Doll Jacket.  It's a vintage inspired piece and it has such a chic and classic vibe.  I especially love the lace details on the collar and pockets AND it's peplum. I mean does it get much better?! I took these photos in Bryant Park and if I could, I would take my pics there all the time! I just love the NYC background.

Details
Lace Peplum Jacket: C/O SugarLips/ Skirt, Hat, Sunnies & Tights: H&M/ Shoes: Bakers/ Bag: Aldo

I really wanted to focus on the chic New York City style that graces the streets.  After looking at these photos, I feel like I could have maybe fit in on the streets of Paris too!  I think it's the hat!
This little jacket is such a great statement piece and it's perfect for this holiday season.

I wanted to keep everything black and white.  What's more classic than that? I also wanted to keep it simple and feminine.  I even wore a set of pearl bracelets to add to the whole classic look. But the best accessory, especially in the city, is coffee :)

Thank you to Melanee for taking these fab pics!  I had so much fun!  This is what I wore in my shoot with her, so stay tuned for those pics coming soon. And thank you to SugarLips for this amazing jacket!

Naty Grams

Happy Sunday!  I've had such a fabulous past few days in the city with my lovie Melanee.  So much fun! We did a shoot together that I will be posting in a couple of days and she took my pics as well so can't wait for you to see the outfit!  But for now, it's time for another round of Naty Grams!

As always, picked 9 of my favorite most recent ones :)

1.  Headed out for some Christmas shopping yesterday!  Wearing my favorite Mandee boots, H&M coat, and OASAP bag.  Something casual and cozy!

2. Went ice skating in Bryant Park with Mel and her sis.  I haven't been ice skating in years!  It was so much fun and even better since it's the holiday time.  So amazed that I didn't fall once! Wore my Forever21 jacket and H&M hat.

3. FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATES!! I finally got to go to the very popular Serendipity to have one of these bad boys with Mel.  Words can't even describe how amazing they taste!  Crazy thing is that Kim Kardashian went there 2 hours after we left.  Ahh!

4.  I had two pretty awesome features this week!  ALDO posted this photo of me using their clutch on their facebook page to over 1 million people! And FabSugar featured this outfit as look of the day! The direct links are on the left hand side of my blog :)

5.  The first night I finally met Mel! We went to dinner at a Thai restaurant in the city.  I love Thai food!  It was so cold that night, I was all bundled up.

6.  Some fab new accessories that I got c/o YourJewelryCloset. I thought this necklace was so cute for the holidays!  I still need to wear these :)

7.  Some new phone cases c/o MilkyWayBodyJewelry, FOREVER & Dream Catcher. You must check them out!  They have a great selection and their prices are good too!

8.  I have an obsession with mustaches!  This is another phone case I got c/o MilkyWayBodyJewelry
"I mustache you a question" lol

9.  I wore this to an important meeting in the city the day before Thanksgiving.  I didn't have enough time to take regular outfit photos.  Wearing a top and necklace from Forever21 and a belt and skirt from H&M.  Don't you love how accessories can transform your whole look?

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a chance to win a camo jacket!  Contest ends on Tuesday.  Thanks to all who entered so far!
I hope that you lovelies are enjoying the weekend.  I can't believe that Christmas is almost here... ahh!
