Printed Jumpsuit

Hello dolls!  Happy weekend :) I had such an amazing time last night.  I went to this fantastic restaurant in the city called Junoon.  It was my first time trying Indian food and I loved it.  Afterwards we all went out for drinks. My jumpsuit was a hit especially with the guys! Or as they called it the "onesie" lol It's always a good feeling when strangers come up to you and compliment your outfit.  I was able to take photos before heading to NY and I hope you like them!

This is the jumpsuit that I showed you guys in my F21 haul.  I haven't worn a jumpsuit in such a long time and I was really excited to experiment with this.  I really love the print and mix of colors.  Originally I was going to wear these shoes in a mustard color to bring out the yellow in the print, but I decided I go with these black shoes instead.  I got them at Mandee for 30% off.  Not bad!

I used my envelope clutch from H&M and went with gold accessories.  I'm wearing a necklace that I got from a thrift shop and a mix of bracelets & rings. Since there is already so much going on with the jumpsuit, I didn't want to over do it so I tried to keep it simple.  I was going to wear a belt also, but I just used the tie that it came with instead.

All of my friends were in dresses so I stood out even more in this.  I like taking some risks and trying out new things.  I'm always curious to see what the feedback will be.  Would you ever wear a jumpsuit? Hope you all have a nice day!!
XO.

Season Mashup

It's a beautiful Wednesday! I love when the weather is warm but yet there's still a cool breeze.  It's a transitional period from winter into spring and sometimes it can be really confusing when deciding what to wear this time of the year.  I decided to base my outfit today around this and combined some items from winter and spring... and I have to say that I really love the turn out.  Everything that I am wearing I purchased awhile ago and it's always fun to pull older pieces out of the closet and create new looks.  Hope that you like!

I'm wearing a dress from H&M that I purchased last summer.  I have such a great memory in this dress. I wore it in LA when I met Columbus Short at the Saddle Ranch... I've always had a crush on him so it was a dream come true lol I really like this print and mix of colors.  I decided to pair it with these boots that I got over a year ago from ShoeDazzle. I used to wear these a lot but never took them out of my closet this past winter, so I thought they would go perfect today.

Since it's a little chilly still, I put on my jean jacket.  To me this is vintage because I've had it in my closet for YEARS and it still does the trick.  Denim jackets really do go with just about everything.  I'm using my shoulder bag from H&M and very few accessories. I put on MAC sophisto lipstick that I haven't worn lately and it matched perfect with the dress.  I just think this outfit is great for days like this and a good way to still put those boots to use before summer hits.

How do you guys feel about mixing different pieces from the seasons?  Hope you enjoy the rest of today!!

MY OUTFIT WON LOOK OF THE WEEK!

Hey loves!  I got a great email this morning.  Last week I signed up for Baker's Shoeternity.  Someone on my instagram told me about it and after checking it out I thought it was pretty cool.  Basically you submit your looks, create a profile, and people can vote on your outfits.  You can win look of the day, look of the week, and win a free pair of shoes!  They get a lot of submissions and a lot of people on there don't even vote so I submitted 3 different looks so far not even thinking that it would get voted on. I didn't promote it either. Well 2 of my looks won "Look of The Day" already and one of them just won LOOK OF THE WEEK!  Bakers also tweeted my look to their followers last week :) I am getting a free pair of shoes and my outfit is also featured on their Facebook page... I thought this was great recognition for me! :)  Check out the pics!

I don't know what shoes I will be winning yet but when they send them to me I will post a pic!  If you have any outfits that you would like to submit just go to www.shoeternity.com and sign up!! :)

Brighter Than The SUN

Hello beautiful people!  I'm feeling extra bright today and maybe that has something to do with my yellow pants :)  I've been wanting to get these for the longest and finally got them.  There's actually a lot of different ways that you can wear these... you can mix yellow with black, pink, prints & florals, white and neutral tones, etc. But today I decided to go with white and gold.  Hope that you like!

These are the same style skinnies as my mint pants and are also from H&M. As I mentioned in my video Haul, they're only $24.95 and I think they're great.  I have a serious issue with buying pants lately.. I actually need more tops but I keep getting bottoms. I'm wearing a button down with two front pockets and a tie that hangs in front.  This is from H&M but it's an older purchase.  I got this sometime last year. It's another one of those tops that wrinkles super fast.

I have on my mary jane platforms and as you can clearly see on my blog, I have worn them multiple times already.  They seriously go with just about everything.  I got this creme & gold clutch, also from H&M, and I love it.  I didn't have any gold clutches so I thought this was perfect.  I love the way it goes with this outfit.  I've been expanding my clutch collection lately but I have to say that they're all inexpensive and I will get a lot of use out of them all.

I'm wearing a bunch of accessories including my Asos cross bracelet, F21 love bracelet & bangles, H&M cuff, F21 flower earrings, and a mix of rings.  I wasn't lying when I said that I wear mostly gold! This outfit is similar to my post "my favorite kind of mint." I love simple yet bold outfits like this.

I hope that you are all enjoying this lovely day so far!! Don't forget to LIKE me on facebook.com/afashionloveaffair and subscribe to my youtube: myfashionloveaffair!

Animal Instinct

Hello loves!  Can't even believe it's April 1st already.  I went to Church this morning for Palm Sunday and then out to brunch.  I was able to take some photos afterwards in this little park near my house.  It's really chilly today so I took pics with and without my jacket.  The first time I wore this top I tied it to my waist and paired it with liquid leggings and booties.  So this time I wanted to make sure that I switched up the entire look.

I have on a sheer leopard print boyfriend blouse from Lovers+Friends.  I love oversized tops so this was perfect for me.  Underneath I'm wearing my bandeau so that my bra wouldn't show through.  I tucked my shirt in loosely in the front of my black skinnies but left it out in the back just to give it a different effect.

I really wanted to bring out the tan in my shirt this time so I'm wearing my seude pumps from Nine West.  I'm using my oversized envelope clutch from TJ Maxx (NY Expressions).  I love the gold hardware on this. My accessories are all gold as you can see and they include a mix of bracelets, this choker collar necklace, some rings and rose stud earrings.

I wore my parka jacket from H&M.  I love the gold detailing on it with the buttons and zippers.  I have on my Ray-Ban cats and did a nice high bun.  By the way, I made my very first tutorial last night for this bun and posted it here on my blog and on my new youtube channel: myfashionloveaffair. Make sure to check it out and subscribe to my videos!

Hope that you all enjoyed the weekend <3
