The Blues

I've mentioned before how chambray tops are such a staple piece to have.  I even did a post a couple of months back showing 3 different ways to wear one.  You can check that out again HERE.  Denim on denim is back in effect and I actually did a post featuring that trend awhile ago.  So this time, I decided to stick with all blue but instead of going with regular denim jeans, I opted for these cobalt skinnies.

Chambray Top: Forever21 (similar)/ Jeans (similar), Clutch & Aviators: H&M/ Shoes: Zara

Every time the seasons change, I go through my closet to see what I have that can still be used.  I completely forgot about these jeans and I think I've only worn them once before on my blog.  I always say this, but I really do find the best jeans and colored denim at H&M.  They always fit me perfectly.
To break up the color I went with this printed clutch to add a little dimension to the look.  Totally unplanned, but my sunnies actually match the clutch!
Mirrored sunnies are such a big trend right now and I have secretly been wanting a pair but wasn't sure if I could pull them off or not.  After a trying on a couple of different styles, I finally found the right ones for me and they were only $7 at H&M.  I'm all about a great deal, so I actually prefer these over the expensive designer ones.  I am trying to expand my sunglass collection so these are a great addition.

Make sure to check out my Online Trunk Show & shop your favorite Stella & Dot goodies for a chance to win my giveaway with them.  It ends 4/17!
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter!

Gold Rush

The best way to brighten up your day and mood is by wearing brighter colors.  Today I am feeling great! The month of March has been so good to me.  It's probably been the most hectic month for me as well, but there's so many wonderful things that have been happening and I am just really appreciative.

Blouse & Shoes: Forever21/ Jeans & Clutch: H&M (similar jeans)/ Lipstick: MAC Creme Cup

Yellow is such a fun color to wear especially during the spring and summer seasons.  I got these jeans last year and I probably won't ever part with them.  The fit is great.  I decided to pair them with this gold studded blouse that I've worn once before.  I always love the little details, especially when they're gold!  It's also a great accent for anything yellow and white. I just really love this combo!
It was windy out today so I am not sure if you can see it that well in these pics, but I brushed out my curls to get more of a fullness!  It's a great way to add some volume and get more of that wavy look.

I am going to be hosting an online trunk show that I will post about tomorrow, so stay tuned! Have a great day my lovelies!

Rip It

It was such a beautiful day on Sunday and it really felt like Spring.  I went to one of my favorite parks near my house (my happy place) and discovered a new bridge.  I love finding new hidden gems!
I've got some pretty big news, so make sure to check out the end of this post!

Blazer: Forever21 (similar)/ Tank: Target/ Jeans: Love Culture (similar) (also love)/ Shoes: Prabal Gurung for Target
Necklace & Cross Ring: Forever21/ Sunnies: Target

I will never part with these jeans.  They've ripped so much more over the past few years but that makes them so much better.  I was more than happy to bring them back out for the blog.  Ripped denim, along with boyfriend jeans, are right on trend. They used to once been seen as a sign of rebellion. I for one, love the edginess as well as the dimension that the rips bring to my outfit.  And obviously, they are bad ass ;) I really wanted to wear these colorful PG shoes again and this blazer matches to perfection.  Coral is such a great color this season.  It's vibrant and will make the simplest outfit stand out.  My obsession with finger candy is growing and I just can't get enough rings!

In addition to taking pics, I also put together an outfit video!  I've been wanting to do this for awhile now and finally got the right memory card to shoot with my canon.  So you know what this means right?  More youtube vids! I am so excited to have better quality videos and get back into doing more hauls, tutorials, etc. I also just ordered a clothing rack too, so stay tuned!

.... AND NOW THE BIG NEWS!!

When I was in Miami, I mentioned that I did an interview with People Style Watch at the Cotton 24 Hour Show and it is now up!! Such an exciting moment for me :) You can watch it down below and also see it HERE- click on "Meet The Regional Style Setters" to see me. I come up twice!

My Meet & Greet At Smashbox

I have so much to share with you in this post so there's LOTS of pics!  I had my very first meet & greet with my blog and instagram followers on Saturday.  I hosted it with Smashbox in Nordstrom at the Mall Of Short Hills and it was such an amazing turnout!  I am so thankful for all of my supporters and it means so much that these girls wanted to come and meet me.  Some of them took a 2-3 hour drive just to be there.  So humbling!

The amazing Smashbox team gave a master class for my followers showing the proper way to apply every day makeup and how to use their products.  One of the girls won a complimentary makeover and they used her as the model for the class.  Afterwards I was able to talk with the girls, take pics and enjoy some treats! Everyone that came also got a gift bag from Smashbox. So many of them told me that I was an inspiration to them and made them want to follow their dreams.  That is so rewarding.  This whole blogging experience is more to me than the clothes I wear and taking pictures of my outfits. That's just the outer layer of it.  It's a movement.  It's self expression.  It's about evolving.  It's about inspiring others.  This meet and greet made me realize so much and I am very thankful.

When I got there, one of the girls from Smashbox touched up my makeup and used their amazing concealer and highlight on me.  The best part about their products is that it's made especially for the camera!  Here's some pics I took before it all started.

Blazer, Skirt & Necklace: Forever21/ Top: H&M/ Shoes: Aldo
