Mellow Yellow

Hey dolls Happy Saturday!! First I want to say once again thank you all so much for the love and support that you show me.  I've been getting such great feedback about this blog and it truly makes me happy.  A lot of girls have been saying they love the fact that I buy great affordable pieces and make them look expensive.  And that really is the key!  It's all about how you put your outfits together.

Today's outfit is another casual one and I did a little bit of color blocking.  Not everyone thinks to pair blue and yellow but I really love the combo.

I picked up these blue denim skinnies from H&M that come right to the ankle and have a little zipper.  I really love these.  I also got this high low yellow tank from there as well. It has a little pocket in the front and the back is sheer. At H&M when you spend over $40, sometimes they give you a $5 gift card to use.  I used that today and every little bit helps!

I went with my nude Zara heels.  These are great for casual outings because the heels aren't super high like most of my other shoes.  I'm using my white & gold clutch from H&M also.  I'm so happy I bought this because it's such a great statement piece.

Of course I am wearing gold accessories again :)  I have on this really pretty floral bracelet from Forever21 along with my Merona watch and mix of usual bracelets.  I'm wearing my favorite necklace and have on this big butterfly ring.  My nails are also yellow as you can see.  I just picked up Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow and did my nails last night.

My lipstick is Creme Cup from MAC.  I'm going out for drinks tonight and will be wearing this :) I hope that you have a great night!!

Color Block Top

It's a beautiful day and I was in the mood for more coral!  I got this color block top from Forever21 a couple of weeks ago and I've been thinking of different ways that I could wear it.  I decided to go with something simple, chic, and casual... which is what I normally do anyway :) Hope you like the pics!

I paired this with dark denim jeans from Forever21 and I rolled them up at the bottom.  I used to do this to all my jeans in the spring time so I thought it would be fun to bring that back.  I'm wearing my favorite shoes, mary jane platforms from Mandee.  I didn't want to do coral shoes again so I thought these nude ones would go perfectly.  It's also a nice way to tone down bright colors in your ensemble.

I used my coral clutch again but this time took out the gold chain so I could put it over my shoulder.  I love bags that can be used 2 different ways!  My accessories are very simple with this Target "Merona" gold watch and H&M chain cuff along with my collar necklace.  I have on small stud earrings  and a few rings.

Also wearing these great H&M sunnies that were only $5.95.  I absolutely love them!  I stopped by MAC yesterday because I had 6 recyclables and it was time to pick up a new shade!  So I got this one that I'm wearing today called "Vegas Volt" and I'm obsessed! It's very similar to the one I wore yesterday "Full Speed" but this one isn't as bright.  I can't say enough how much I love coral especially for this time of the year.

Enjoy the rest of the day and hope you have a great weekend beauties!!

WHITE & CORAL

Happy Thursday lovelies! I'm really excited about my post for today.  Not only am I going to show you my outfit of the day but I want to elaborate a little bit more on this trend.  White blazers are HUGE for spring and summer just like black blazers are for the fall/winter. They are such a great statement piece for any outfit and there's a ton of different ways that it can be worn.  I found this one at Forever21 for only $22 and the fit is great as well as the length.  I know for sure that I will be wearing this in multiple ways.

White blazers look super cute with pastels and neon shades, over a romper or jumpsuit, paired with shorts or a skirt, over a dress or just with a pair of jeans like I have on today.  They will also go great with colored denim which will probably be how I wear it next. It's a great way to tone down printed patterns or bright colors too and bring the outfit together nicely. For my first time wearing a white blazer, I decided to go with white on white and a little pop of color.  It's casual, chic and trendy.

My jeans are also from Forever21 and they are one of my favorite pairs.  I love how they are slightly ripped and are somewhere in the middle of skinnies and boyfriend jeans.  I'm wearing a simple white micro tank from Target that I have in many colors.

I went with these coral shoes that are also from Target and only cost me $20.  I decided to use my coral clutch from Mandee and went with all good accessories.   I've got on a watch from Target, Asos cross bracelet, Forever21 love bracelet set, chain cuff and chain necklace from H&M and my white earrings are from Aldo.

I went with a lot of jewelry as you can see but I love the way it looks with this white blazer.  The finishing touch was my coral lipstick.  It's Full Speed from MAC.  Hope that you liked the photos! How do you feel about white blazers?  Will they become a new addition to your wardrobe?

XO.

Boyfriend Jeans & A Fedora

Hello loves.  I am not feeling the weather today!  This is going to be a short post because when I was outside taking pics it started to rain so these were the only ones that I got.  I went with something a little different but really comfortable and laid back.  Some girls love boyfriend jeans, some hate them, and some don't know how to style them.  I actually love menswear inspired pieces as you probably know by now and it's fun to put a feminine spin on these items.

I have on boyfriend jeans from H&M and these are super comfortable.  I haven't worn these in a very long time.  I really like the way my Jeffrey Campbell Litas look with this.  I'm wearing a simple tee and added some accessories like this fedora hat that I got from Target.  I really love fedoras and look forward to wearing them more this summer.

[Making a wish]

I'm wearing a tribal triangle necklace from Gypsy Warrior, Target gold watch, a few bracelets and rings.  Also using my TJ Maxx clutch.  I just decided to stick with all neutrals and keep it simple.  This is a very casual outfit and a little different from what I normally wear, but I like to switch things up.  Hope that you like :)

The Shoes I Won!

Happy Monday!! I was so excited when I got an email this morning from the Bakers Shoes team telling me that I get to pick any Bakers brand shoe that I want for winning look of the week.  After going through the site multiple times I finally made my choice and I wanted to share it with you guys!  This is called CARLEY and she also comes in orange, but I fell in love with this turquoise print.  I do not have any shoes like this or with this color.  All of my heels are solid colors.  These are perfect for spring and I already have an outfit in mind.  I really like the cork heel and these are super high at 5 3/4" with a 2" platform.  I will be about 5'5 in these :)

These cost $75 and I still can't believe that I am getting them for free!  If you want the chance to win a free pair of Bakers shoes then you ladies should definitely sign up for shoeternity and submit your outfits so people can vote! Of course when these babies come in I will be taking photos in them and I can't wait to share with you!!

Easter Pastels

Happy Easter loves!! I hope that you've all been enjoying this beautiful day with your loved ones.  I've had a pretty busy day but I was able to take photos in my outfit and I hope that you like it! I channelled my inner Audrey Hepburn a little bit and have a breakfast at Tiffany's vibe going on.  I wanted something classic and chic and she's the perfect fashion icon to get that look.

I'm wearing a pastel floral dress that I got last year at H&M.  I only wore this once before and I thought it would be perfect for the day's festivities.  My mint nail polish matched perfectly and it wasn't done intentionally.  Since there's been a cool breeze all day I needed a little cover up.  This sweater is actually my mom's and I think it's so cute.  I'm not sure where she got it from but it definitely did the trick.

I have on my nude Zara pumps.  I love these shoes! My accessories are mostly all pearls and then I have on my Aldo earrings.  This clutch is from Mandee and it's a nice neutral shade.  I finally wore my oversized Marc Jacobs shades again.  I need to start wearing these more often.

I did a little something different with my hair today too.  I made a front side braid and then put my hair into a high bun.  I got a lot of compliments on the braid and I will be experimenting more with it!
Enjoy the rest of the day <3
