Black In The Summer: Gypsy Warrior Love

Happy Saturday my loves!  I hope that you're enjoying this weekend so far. The weather is beautiful today and thankfully not as hot or humid as the past few days.  I'm in an all black mood so I wanted to take advantage of that and wear these great new pieces.  It's dressy but edgy.  Hope that you like!

Stripe Skirt: Courtesy of Gypsy Warrior (Here)
Clutch: Gypsy Warrior
Shoes: Forever21
Lipstick: MAC Full Speed

I'm sure you all know about my obsession with high low skirts by now.  I seriously can't get enough! It's like a maxi & mini rolled into one skirt. This one is sheer, so I have on a long tank underneath as a slip.  I've been doing that a lot lately.  This would also look good with some black shorts under neath as well.  I paired it with this little crop tank that has a sweetheart neckline and open bow detailing in the back. Super cute!! These type of tops are amazing for the sumer time ladies!

I was thinking of doing a colored shoe but I decided to stick with my all black theme so I put on these peep toe sling backs.  I have a little pop of color with my nail polish.  I have on Essie Off The Shoulder & A Crewed Interest as the accent nail.  Love these 2 shades!  I also went with a coral tone lip.

I'm using this snakeskin clutch that I adore!  It's one of my favorites and I purchased it a few months ago from GW.  My accessories are this H&M cuff and necklace, Forever21 earrings, and my 2 favorite rings.  My hair is sort of big today.  I figured out a new way to get it like this :)

Make sure you all check out Gypsy Warrior online! I hope that you have a great night!

Hello Summer

Holy hotness!  Summer is definitely here with this weather.  It's been 99 degrees the past 2 days.  I'm happy I got to wear some of my favorite pieces again before this heat wave kicked in!
So I had 2 brief meetings to go to and I'm really excited about the outcomes.  One is with Gypsy Warrior They're one of my favorite boutiques in NJ and I've gotten some great things from their store. Great prices too!  The other was with a salon in Ridgewood, NJ called Moxie Salon It's owned by two twins and they're fab!  They will be giving me a complete makeover!  I don't want to say the details yet, but I will be posting photos to show you the results. And then I will be having a give away for my NJ readers!  The winner might be getting a free makeover so stayed tuned!!

This is what I wore to my meetings.  I just wanted something cute and simple that was well put together.

Top: Forever21
Shorts: H&M
Shoes: Zara
Clutch & Sunnies: H&M
Lipstick: MAC Vegas Volt

This was another shirt that I showed in my recent haul.  I was really drawn to the print and color combo.  I don't have many things with orange and I think it's a great color for summer.  It's a high low tunic but I decided to tuck it into these high waisted suede shorts.  I got these last summer and I've only worn them twice.  I know it sounds a little crazy to wear suede shorts in 90 degree weather but I was honestly fine!

When I was going through my shoes I realized how perfect my Zara sandal heels went with this ensemble so of course I had to wear them again!  I went with a plain black envelope clutch and a few accessories.  I've got on my Target watch & a few bangles, this H&M collar necklace and 2 rings.

The finishing touch was my lipstick, my absolute favorite shade for this season.

One last thing before ending this post... I had another interview/feature with a blogger from Georgia.  You can check it out here! ProjectBahiti Thanks Armoni!

XOXO

Pink & Yellow

I'm back with today's outfit!  It's supposed to be beautiful weather all week but extremely hot in the high 90s.  I might hide at home in the AC all day! :)  I'm wearing one of the tops from my recent haul video.  It's very summery. Hope you like!

Top: Forever21
Pants: Love Culture
Shoes: Fusion (Mandee)
Bag: H&M
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Lipstick: MAC Sweetie

I can't let go of my floral obsession.  I've tried, I really have but I just can't help it.  I've never been so into florals until this past season.  So of course I was very drawn to this top.  I also love yellow and pink together.  So the front is floral and the back is yellow with open slits at the top and the whole thing is sheer.  These tops are so light weight and great for warmer weather.

I decided to pair this with my white skinny pants so the colors could really stand out.  I'm so happy I found these and they were only $20!  I have on my mustard yellow peep toe platforms and I think they go perfectly.  If I had pink shoes I probably would have worn those instead.

My accessories are this gold & neon pink chain necklace from H&M, F21 gold bangles & white bracelet and this H&M shoulder bag.  I've been getting so many girls asking me about my high bun so make sure to check out my youtube channel, the link to follow is at the bottom of my blog.  I have a tutorial for it on there!  I don't do the sock bun or donut so make sure you watch it!

One last thing, I'm doing a contest giveaway for my instagram followers.  I am at over 7k and wanted to do a thank you for them, so if you want to enter make sure to follow me on instagram! Username is natybaby and there's also a link at the bottom to follow me there.

Have a lovely night!

Denim & Cut Outs

Happy Monday, I hope that you all had a great weekend!  It's in the 70s today so I thought it would be the perfect time to wear this outfit.  I am obsessed with this top that I bought last week and at first I wasn't sure how I wanted to style it, but I just decided to go with something simple.  It's a very casual outfit.

Shirt: Forever21
Shorts: H&M
Shoes: Fusion (Mandee)
Bag: H&M
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Lipstick: MAC Vegas Volt

I love anything shoulder cut out.  It just gives the shirt a really cool effect.  And I really like how this is denim with black sheer sleeves.  It was such a great find.  I decided to pair it with these shorts that I got last summer from H&M.  They're super casual.  I like how it looks left out but of course depending on your style you can tuck it in as well.  You could even button it up to the top, but I like the laid back feel of it open.

I'm using my fringe bag that I haven't taken out in awhile.  This used to be my every day bag.  I've had it for almost 2 years now and it's still in great condition.  I went with these platform peep toes because they aren't too dressy and I wanted to keep it casual.

I'm wearing the black suede chain bracelet from Fancy Made and two rings.  Nothing too much today.  To add in a little color I put on Vegas Volt.
Do you love shoulder cut outs as much as I do?

Father's Day Tribute

I know this is a fashion blog, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't do this today.  I lost my father almost two years ago to colon cancer.  It was something very unexpected and the most difficult thing that I have ever had to go through.  After his diagnosis, he fought as hard as he could to beat it for 3 months but the cancer had already spread to his liver and it was too late.  The most difficult thing was to watch him suffer and know that there was nothing I could do to make it all go away.  All I could do was be there every step of the way to show him support and love.  When he started to lose his hair during chemotherapy I cut my hair off because that was the kind of support I wanted to give him. I held his hand all the way through his battle, even till his last breath.  Right before he passed away, he smiled.  He smiled twice.  I find comfort in that memory because I knew in that moment he was no longer suffering and really was going to a better place.

My father was a principle and he truly inspired so many people, especially me.  He continues to inspire me every single day and gives me the strength that I need to live my life without him.  He is the reason I got the word "Inspire" tattooed on my wrist.  It's a daily reminder to me that I need to try and inspire others the way that he did.  That's the kind of legacy that I want to leave behind.  You can be told you're beautiful a thousand times, but for one person to call you an inspiration is the most amazing compliment you could receive.  And I mean it wholeheartedly when I say that my goal with this fashion blog is to inspire.

My dad never got to see this side of me, but he did get the chance to listen to all the music I recorded and he was my biggest fan and supporter.  Even during his treatments, he would tell the nurses and other patients that I was a singer and gave them my website so they could go home and listen to my music. Even during his battle, he still put me first.  That's the kind of man he was and I was truly blessed to have had him as my father.  I'm so grateful for all the big moments in my life that he got to be apart of, but it fills my heart with sadness when I think of all the big moments that are still to come that he won't be here for.  I wish he could see this blog and all of the opportunities that have come from this.  But I know he is watching over me and shining down his love and guidance.  I truly believe that he is my guardian angel.

My sister and I did this photo shoot as a Fathers Day present to my dad when he was sick in 2010.  It was the last Fathers Day that we were able to spend with him.  This photo was meant to give him strength in his weakest moment.
SAY IT FIGHT IT CURE IT.

"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years."

Happy Father's Day to my beautiful & amazing guardian angel.  Words don't express how much I miss you.  You are my driving force.  I love you!
