Oh HI Bun

One of the best parts about Spring is the fact that it stays light out a little bit longer!  I was doing so much yesterday that I honestly didn't think I would have time to snap some pics so here is an impromptu outfit.  It's something casual and edgy and as you can see, the bun is back to play :)

Jeans: C/O Gypsy Warrior/ Top: Forever21/ Jacket & Bag: H&M (similar)/ Shoes: JLO
Watch: Michael Kors/ Sunnies: Target/ Ring: Juicy Couture (gifted)

I always like to incorporate at least one statement piece into my outfit and then base the rest of my look around it.  The statement piece with this look are these Southwest print skinny jeans from the
Gypsy Warrior label! If you are not big on regular blue denim, try going with jeans that have some type of print or color. They will instantly make your outfit stand out.  These jeans are on sale right now too!
Originally I was trying to find a really cute graphic tee for these jeans but since I just wore one in my last post, I decided to keep it simple with a crop top and my go to faux leather jacket.  I have been wearing these shoes so much lately mainly because of their comfort and the fact that they go with just about anything.  I have so many pretty shoes for spring and I am waiting for it to get a little warmer so I can pull out the sandals and open toes!

Just 2 more days till my meet & greet and I am so excited! The Mall Of Short Hills has it listed on their site!! Also, I was interviewed and quoted in my local newspaper, The Record. Check it out!

Last Night A Blogger Saved My Life

I went to a community meet up/happy hour hosted by the amazing PoshMark team last night at the Dream Downtown Hotel in NYC.  There's so many things that I love about the PoshMark app, but the best part of all is the way they interact with all of their users.  They travel frequently to other cities to host both live PM parties and community meet ups.  It's such a great way to bring everyone together in person and it really shows how much they love their community.  It's no surprise that they now have over 1million girls shopping and selling on the app! Truly amazing and I am so happy to be apart of it.

Here's what I wore and some photos from the event :)

Shirt: Mangos/ Blazer: Zara (similar)/ Skinnies: H&M/ Necklace: C/O SxVintage

Obsessed with this tee! It's perfect for bloggers :) I added a chunky chain necklace and yellow blazer to make it pop!  I love pairing blazers with graphic tees!

The PoshMark Team: Amanda, CEO Mannish, Maria and Lyann!  They're all amazing!

Color Trend: Black & White

Spring will be here in a few days and I couldn't be happier about it! I am really over this cold weather. There are so many trends for this upcoming spring season, but one of my favorites is black and white.  As I have mentioned before, it's so classic and chic!  It's always been one of my favorite color combos.

Top: C/O SugarLips/ Pants: Zara/ Shoes: JLO/ Bag: Aldo (similar)/ Neckalce: Forever21 (also love)/
Bracelet: C/O TheWayWeAre/ Sunnies: Target

I'm headed to a meeting today, so I wanted something stylish and sophisticated.  I decided to go with this two toned top from Sugar Lips that is part of their spring collection.  It's such a simple piece but it really stands out.  For some, black and white might seem a little boring but there's always ways to spice it up by accessorizing and adding a little pop of color if need be.  I decided to go with a red lip (MAC Russian Red) to brighten up the look a bit.

Every girl should have a statement necklace and this one from Forever21 is a favorite of mine.  It's such a great way to make your outfit pop and add a little dimension. I can't stress enough how the right accessories can really make your whole look complete.
How do you feel about the black & white trend and how will you be wearing it this Spring?  If you need a little more inspiration, check out some of my other posts rocking this trend.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT MY MEET & GREET SATURDAY MARCH 23RD 3-5PM AT SMASHBOX IN THE NORDSTROM AT THE MALL OF SHORT HILLS!

Mint Condition

It's another cold and windy day but I am not letting that stop me! I have spring on my mind and to brighten up this Friday, I needed to dress the part :)

Spike Top: C/O Eva Boutique/ Mint Jeans: H&M (similar)
Shoes: Forever21 (similar style) (also love) Lipstick: MAC Creme Cup

I am really looking forward to bringing out some of my favorite pieces this spring, including these mint jeans.  It's still one of my favorite colors. I've always loved the mint and pink combo and the gold details really bring the whole look together.  This top has three of my favorite things all in one: spikes, gold, and cut outs!  It's edgy but still chic.  You can get it on sale now at EvaBoutique

There's tons of ways to style this top, but I really wanted to throw in another fun color in the mix.  These shose were literally meant for this shirt.  Cap toe heels are still everywhere right now.  I just wish these shoes were a little more comfortable! I'm obsessed with the gold though.  I've been getting a lot of questions about the lipstick color that I typically wear. I keep forgetting to add it on my posts, but whenever I have on a nude or light pink shade, it's usually MAC Creme Cup or Hot Gossip, or sometimes both mixed together!  I love bright and bold lips too, but lighter shades are great for every day.

Enjoy your weekend!

Mad About Plaid

Just a few days ago it was feeling like spring and today it has been super windy.  My hair was flying all over the place but I still tried to get some good photos by my favorite bridge in my town!  My mom is so amazing and has been trying to eat her lunch at work so that she has more time to take pics with me at different locations.  My town is so limited when it comes to great scenery, but I am determined to find a hidden gem!

Jacket: C/O 10 Corso/ Shirt & Bag (love this): H&M/ Pants: Love Culture (love these)/ Shoes: JLO (gifted)
Necklace: Vintage/ Sunnies: Target (smiliar

10 Corso is a fashion street wear line based out of Cali.  Their collection is inspired by your favorite man's closet, offering boyish pieces that are tailored in a flirty and feminine way.  I had the chance to check out their lookbook and this plaid split back jacket was definitely one of my favorite pieces.  Plaid print instantly reminds me of the shirts that my father used to wear.  It's become such a big trend for women through out the years.  I've worn plaid button downs, but never had a plaid jacket.  I love the split detail in the back and the way it drapes in the front.  It's such a great statement piece for this outfit.

I thought it would look best with white pants to make the print pop a little more.  I haven't worn these pants since the summer.  Black and white is such a big trend for spring and definitely one of my favorite combos.  I can't even count the number of times I have worn black and white together.  There's something super chic and classic about it.

I hope that despite the wind, these photos did this outfit justice.  Enjoy your day!
